Also an emphasis on disarms and wide slashes to hit multiple people.įorm II can't really be shown, mostly because it's one handed and based in old European styles of fighting (rapier, saber).įorm III's a pure defense form, so fast style which is short range and lets you do quick counters is pretty good for imitating it, as well as the heavy blaster defense.

TLDR: Is there any way to tone down the crazy reaction times for the campaign AI on higher difficulties? Just force push, pull, absorb and heal and lightsaber basics. I completed a Jedi Master campaign without the abuse of speed, rage, grip, lightning, etc. So on jedi master it was kind of disappointing that it was close to impossible to keep a solid tempo going of back and forth. Really cool how the game opens up the more you go deeper into the combat. I can keep up solid attack chains back and forth between the AI. When I was much younger the double saber gave me huge amounts of trouble but now, even on Jedi Master, it's just no difficulty whatsoever (except for Reborn Masters). The basic cultist with strong style is probably the most dangerous now, with the double saber being the weakest, dual sabers being second weakest and single saber being much more challenging. So enemies just became almost trivial on lower difficulties. Your basic Form 1, 5 with medium and Djem So for strong style occasionally, 4 with medium style and lots of acrobatics and speed, and form III with fast style. So I virtually dumped strong style almost completely and kind of modeled a more 7 forms style, mostly based around medium style. In the past year I've been going back to Jedi Academy (single player), trying to do the lightsaber combat a bit more in depth, with counters, much more accurate swinging and trying to get into a tempo of attack/parry/block/riposte, etc., rather than hitting once and then running out of range.
